SwingAlign™

The industry's fastest and most convenient axle alignment system requiring no replacement parts or disassembly. Axle alignment is achieved by direct adjustment of the lead screw, requiring less than 250 ft. lbs. (340Nm) of torque.

BLACK ARMOUR® Metal Treatment

The BLACK ARMOUR® metal protection process chemically bonds with metal to form a protective skin that is impervious to water and anti-icing chemicals. BLACK ARMOUR® is paint compatible without pre-sanding. If scratched, BLACK ARMOUR® inhibits the spread of creep corrosion.

This eco-friendly metal treatment provides remarkable protection without the added weight and cost of galvanization.

CBX Trailing Arm Design

The trailing arm design combines steel casting strength with fabrication flexibility to produce a high-strength manufactured component. The design lowers overall system weight, without sacrificing strength and provides for a broad range of applications. This suspension is one of the lightest weight systems available.

Tire Pilot Plus™

The SAF Tire Pilot Plus™ is an enhanced tire pressure management system that controls pressure through inflation or high-pressure relief while maintaining equal pressure across all wheels.

The SAF CBX25/30 245 Self-Steering Axle is a pre-engineered system ready for easy OEM installation. The SAF CBX25/30 245 Self-Steering Axle System provides 25,000 lbs of capacity for on highway applications along with 30,000 lbs. of load carrying capacity at creep speeds (5 mph or less). The self-steering axle significantly reduces tire-scrubbing, tire wear and improves fuel economy.

*The CBX25/30 245 is rated for 30,000 lbs. of load carrying at creep speed. Creep speed is defined as 5 mph or less.
